Golmow wins the Call for Start-ups at Innorobo 2013

The autonomous lawn mower for golf courses developed by SELFTECH won the Call for Start-ups at Innorobo, the biggest robotics event in Europe among projects from more than 20 nationalities.

This robot developed by SELFTECH will revolutionize the way golf courses are maintained, allowing the fairways to be mowed in a completely autonomous and clean way.

The pilot is being tested on two golf courses in the Lisbon region and the project is in the second fund raising stage for product industrialization and global commercialization.

Innorobo 2013 will take place from Tuesday, the 19th to Thursday the 21st of March 2013 in Lyon, France and offers the unique opportunity to robotics companies and affiliated industry (components, software, hardware) as well as research laboratories to increase their overall business internationally, develop new partnerships and share real discussions about robotics with renowned thought leaders and worldwide robotics experts. A rich and full experience that only happens at Innorobo. 

Along with the 1st place achieved in the Call for Start-ups, SELFTECH will have the opportunity to gain visibility while demonstrating the technologies developed and also to introduce the strategy and business plan to private investors and public financial institutions.
